During Pontiac's Rebellion in 1763 ,with Fort Pitt under siege, a relief column led by Colonel Henry Bouquet was ambushed at Bushy Run in what is now Western Pennsylvania. This crucial battle is now recreated in the Battle of Bushy Run Playset.
